Every so often we allow the release of a demo license. This is ideally given to a company that has the potential for partnership and license quantity (100+ licenses the first year). We are more then willing to help decide if our solution is right for you.

The main reason a company doesn't utilize the Remote Origin softphone is because it currently only supports windows and the IAX2 protocol. Since most established VoIP providers infrastructure use expensive and proprietary VoIP PBX systems, its hard for most engineers to integrate an Asterisk system without our help. It is possible and extremely feasible to integrate Asterisk with any VoIP enabled PBX and applicable web applications. Most companies require our assistance to accomplish this. If the promised license commitment is high enough, we sometimes aide in the integration for free.

Requirements of a Demo license include a mutually signed non-disclosure agreement. This is for your companies protection as well as Remote Origin's protection. When we receive the signed NDA, we will send you two executable files. One application is a USB Serial number decoder. Attach the desired USB drive you wish to use with the demo softphone then run the software. This software will reveal the USB serial number. We require this number, a desired username and password and up to three host names for the demo. We will then send you the applicable license key. Put the softphone software onto the usb drive, run it for the first time, enter the serial key and watch it load. The first time the software boots, it will create an encrypted license file. Demo licenses are valid for a one month period. After the one month period has expired, the software refuses to load.

A demo license does not allow you to utilize the administrative application/partnership portal.
